Established in 1996, our experience in supplying businesses with best in class Internet, connectivity and hosting services is something other providers envy.
Privately owned, with its head office and highly qualified staff operating from its own datacentre in Fleet, Hampshire, just a few minutes from J4A of the M3, Datanet is the one name you can trust to deliver your hosting and connectivity solutions. Three additional datacentre facilities in London provide a comprehensive service in London and the South East where Datanet has a strong presence.
The hosting and connectivity solutions we provide have the added benefit of having direct access to our Technical, Sales, Operations and Accounts teams, all with a wealth of experience and answered within four rings of the phone.
Our newest datacentre in Fleet has been designed to supply a higher power allowance in a cost and energy efficient manner and, combined with our London datacentres, forms our core infrastructure available for your distributed network.
With secure hosting and dedicated IP connections, Datanet is a recognised name you can rely upon to help your business develop and grow.

Aspen House Fleet or "AHF" is our own data centre opened here in Fleet, Hampshire, in June 2008.
With over 4,000 sq ft of data centre space this brand new facility is the ideal option for companies based in the South East looking for hosting facilities outside of London.
In addition, Datanet also has data centre facilities in three of the UK's leading data centres, Equinix in Heathrow, and Telehouse and Telecity, both in London's Docklands. All offer state of the art hosting facilities to ensure maximum security for your servers and data.
All four data centres offer the high standards expected of award-winning facilities, with advanced services backed by market leading Service Level Agreements. With Datanet looking after your servers you can rest assured that they are housed in a highly secure and resilient environment.
The Aspen House data centre specification can be found here
All our data centres have the following features:
- Secure Reception: Entry to the data centre is gained via zone-specific personal security passes which are used for both entry and exit providing for anti-tailgating and anti-passback levels of security.
- CCTV Cameras: Colour CCTV cameras are sited throughout the exterior and interior of the building.
- Proprietary Cabling Structure: Diverse fibre routing available from several carriers. Fully established truncated internal cable network. Incorporating enclosed and protected Telco room with redundant bandwidth delivery.
- Air Conditioning: The air conditioning system is configured with 100% built-in redundancy. Effectively, only half of the air conditioning units are required to support the data centre at maximum occupancy.
- Uninterrupted Power Supply: Should mains supply fail at any time, a series of battery powered UPS's already in circuit powers all the hosted equipment. On-site generators provide mains power back up with sufficient fuel capacity to maintain full power for up to 4 days with contracts in place to supply diesel same day.
Datanet's network is at the heart of our business. It is designed with no single point of failure so that there are no interruptions or compromises in the quality and level of service.
The addition of Aspen House to our infrastructure gives us even greater independence and allows a far wider range of options for our customers with the added benefit of having our own engineers here on-site next to your servers and our critical infrastructure.
Datanet use multiple carriers for redundancy and resilience and also actively peer with other ISPs at multiple Internet Exchanges e.g. LINX the London Internet Exchange, ensuring Internet traffic is routed to its destination over the fastest and shortest path.
We at Datanet have the independence of owning and managing our own network and we consistently invest in our infrastructure to ensure we remain one of the UK's leading ISP's providing the Business Class Internet service.
